Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Two Sick, One Happy.

Well, I am having some issues loading pictures on this thing (it says I am out of space?).  So, I am waiting for my computer geek tech husband to come home tomorrow night so he can help me.

I wasn't going to blog today again since I have no pictures to post, but since Dennis enjoys getting updates while he is away I thought I would do a quick blog.

Despite today's 70 degree weather, the winter germs have decided to visit us once again.  Logan started with a bit of a fever last night.  He has a 3rd bottom tooth coming in so I thought maybe it was that (not sure why he is only getting bottom teeth and no signs of the upper ones coming in).  Well, after lunch I got a call from Colin's school saying he was complaining of a tummy ache and had a slight fever.  So, I had to pick him up.  Sure enough when we got home Colin and Logan both had a 102 fever.  Colin is also complaining of a headache.  I am crossing my fingers that it passes soon and doesn't end up being strep.

I should mention...I had to pick up Evan from preschool with 2 sick kids in tow and I was crossing my fingers that Evan wouldn't also be sick.  Well, Evan was all smiles and chatter.  He talked and talked and talked the whole evening.  As soon as I picked him up he said "Mommy, we all have feelings.  We talked about feelings today, like angry."  I said "What feeling are you having right now".  And Evan said "Happy, like always"!  He really is almost always happy.

The evening was very quiet.  Colin fell asleep on the couch at 5 and slept for 2 hours until I woke him up, helped him dress for bed and then did some reading.  For school, they are recording how much reading they are doing each night this month.  So even though he was sick he still wanted to read to me.  By 7:30 all the boys were quietly in their beds.  Lets hope they are all feeling better tomorrow so we can get outside and enjoy the weather (it is going to be upper 70's)!
