Since I couldn't go out anywhere, I decided to bake a coffee cake for Dennis' birthday tomorrow. We are going out to dinner tomorrow evening, so I decided a coffee cake for breakfast would be nice. Of course, we couldn't wait until tomorrow so we sang "Happy Birthday" tonight and ate some of the cake for dessert.
Colin had basketball practice so I left the little ones with Dennis and took Colin. One of the other mom's asked me if Colin had played before because he is REALLY good. She said "Thank goodness he is on the team, because they would be a mess without him". I think she is referring to how aggressive he is on offense, it is pretty cute to watch how in to the game he is.
Well, I am looking forward to a date night tomorrow night with Dennis for his birthday!
