Early Wake Up Calls

Ear infections and teething can both be very frustrating, especially because you don't know how long they will last.  And having both is extra frustrating.  Poor Logan, the last couple weeks if it isn't one thing it is another.  The fever is gone, the rash is fading and yet he is cutting a tooth and I think his ears are still hurting too. 

The 4:45 am wake up call this morning was brutal.  I don't do well without at least 8 hours of sleep and I have had one too many early wake up calls from sick kids the last couple weeks.  I tried everything to put Logan back to sleep, but he just kept crying.  I wish I could let him cry, but I don't want him to wake up his brothers.  He did end up waking them up early and they were both cranky by the end of the day.

Evan has been cranky the last few evenings, I think he is tired and that turns in to defiance.  He has had many a talking to recently.  Yesterday evening he said "Mommy, I am so sad.  I have been very bad today".  He tried so hard to be better today, and he was overall.  But, he still had to have a talk with his Daddy before he was able to have some dessert....
