Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Open House And Superbowl.

Saturday was busy getting the house ready for Sundays open house and Superbowl.  Colin had a good basketball game and then we went out for dinner and frozen yogurt.  Once the boys were all tucked in for bed, Dennis and I hit the ground running doing all the cleaning that is too hard to do when the boys are awake.

During the open house we took the boys to the Children's Museum.  They had a lot of fun and even Logan was playing in the baby area.

From what we have been told from realtors, they don't like doing open houses because hardly anyone shows up and those who do are usually not serious buyers.  So, we were crossing our fingers that we got even one person in the door.  Luckily, we got two.  One of the couples had been to our house at a previous open house, so they have some potential.  However, it has been months since our last open house so if they have been looking this whole time, I am not optimistic about them being serious buyers.  Anyway, at least someone came, it has been since Thanksgiving that we even had someone walk in the door.

Our realtor says that houses at our price point are all slow right now.  Case and point, our neighbors (who we were suposed to have a joint open house with), got a contract last week after only 1-2 weeks of being on the market.  They are priced over 50k less than us and have a much smaller home (in fact ours is a better deal per sq ft).  I guess we are dealing with the negative side of being one of the largest homes in our neighborhood.

We had our friends Mandy and Stephen over for the Superbowl.  I would have liked to invite more friends but, Sunday evenings are tough since everyone has kids. We had a good time eating LOTS of yummy food and watching the game.
