If I ever wondered what it would be like to have my kids 5 years apart, today I got my answer. Colin was off from school today, but Evan's preschool was open, so today it was just Dennis, Colin, Logan and I. It was a very quiet day without Mr. Evan. I think having my kids this far apart would have been very easy. The only downfall is that Colin didn't have anyone to play with, except us. So, he wanted us to do something with him all day (well actually this is how he is every day, he wants to "play something" all the time).
We had fun going to the high school parking lot and watching Colin ride his bike. He has gotten really good, but we learned our lesson that next time we need to make him wear his knee pads. One fall and he was done for the day.
The rest of the day was spent running errands now that the kids are healthier (Logan still has an eye and ear infection and I am really frustrated that they haven't cleared up yet). Dennis didn't really have this holiday off work, but decided last minute to take it off and we were so happy to have him home for this 3 day weekend.
One thing about Logan....like most babies he is going through a stage where he hates getting dressed. Sometimes, we physically have to hold him down. However, just like his brothers he LOVES being naked. He gave the biggest smile of the day when he managed to wiggle away from me before I could get his jammies on!
