Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Colin's Rough Day.

When I wasn't planning the menu and grocery list for the Superbowl, I was playing with Evan and Logan today.  I also started to do a little bit of cleaning in preparation for the Superbowl and more importantly an open house that we have scheduled on Sunday.  Actually, Dennis has done most of the prep work for the open house so far.  He painted the green bathroom, yep no more green!  He also steam cleaned the upstairs carpets the other night.  Tomorrow we will be very busy doing all the rest of the cleaning.  Of course, this is all probably for nothing as things have been so dead around here, we will be lucky if even one person shows.

Anyway, when Colin got home from school another boy in the neighborhood rang our doorbell and told me Colin had punched a girl he sits next to.  Colin at first denied it and then admitted to it.  Now, I think this sounds worse than it is.  See, the kids sit 3 to a seat and for months now Colin has been complaining there is no room and the other girl and boy he sits with are always mean and pushing him.  So, it is an ongoing back and forth thing.  In fact the girl hit him before and yesterday the other two parents were talking because the girl hit the other boy.    Anyway, after a stern talking to, we took all Colin's "privileges" away for the day and he is not allowed play video games all weekend.  I will have to talk to the other Mom on Monday to see if she knows anything about it.  I hope these kids can learn to get along and realize that three to a seat is going to be tight, so they just have to get over it.

This ended on kind of a sweet note though.  Colin left a note for me saying "Sorry Mommy".  He is so sensitive and sweet.
