Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Evan is 6 Years Old!!

Today is Evan's 6th birthday!  Logan, Leah, and I went to Evan's school to bring him lunch and surprised him with a Starbucks "milkshake" too.  It was great to see my boy at school.

Dinner was Vietnamese pork sandwiches which was his choice.  He actually wanted linguine and clam sauce but we were short on time yesterday and so he said we could do the linguine yesterday and the pork sandwiches today, since he loves both.

After dinner we enjoyed some cake and he opened up his presents from us (all baseball related) and from all the family that had mailed gifts.

At 6 years old Evan is a happy active kid.  He rarely sits still and is always being told to "stay in your seat" at meals.  He loves to laugh and play with his brothers.  He enjoys playing baseball.  He is also pretty obsessed with Bey blades (spinning tops) and Pokemon cards.

Evan can be the sweetest kid I have ever met.  He really has a big heart.  He is always surprising us with loving notes.  He says the nicest things too.  Completely out of the blue he will thank Dennis or I for things like taking him out to dinner or complimenting him.    He is a sensitive kid too.  Evan can also give us a few gray hairs though.  When he gets in a grumpy mood...watch out!

Evan is doing great at school.  His reading has really taken off this year.  He always has good behavior and we haven't had any issues with him at all.

Evan still goes to bed around 7:45pm and wakes around 6:45.  He is a pretty good eater, but doesn't love casseroles or things he can't identify.  He often isn't too hungry at dinner time and sometimes doesn't touch his dinner.  But, he does love most fruits and many veggies.  He also loves peanut butter and jelly, yogurt, and cereal.  He can eat his weight in blackberries and blueberries.

I am excited to see what the next year has in store for my sweet Evan.
