Saturdays are all about soccer and football right now. Evan's soccer game was first. Evan seems to be deteriorating as the season goes along. The first couple games he was scoring lots of goals and much more aggressive. Today, while he stayed on the field most of the time, he wasn't paying too much attention to where the ball was. He was having much more fun talking to the other players and just running back and forth. He also likes when it is his turn to take a break, and takes that time to ask us if he can have a snack. But, at least he is having a lot of fun!
Colin on the other hand, played his whole game without a break. He constantly is asking the coach if he can be on offense and always wants to be the one to throw the ball in when it goes out of bounds. He spent most of Evan's game playing soccer with a buddy and still had the energy to play his hardest during his game. I don't know where he gets his energy from, but it sure is fun to watch him play something he is so passionate about.
This was followed by watching the Hokie football game on t.v. and then the dinner/baths/stories/bed routine. The day ended with Dennis and I cleaning the house for a showing tomorrow. Since these showings are so few and far between we try to have the house perfect.
Nothing remarkable happened today, but doesn't get much better than watching our boys play sports, it really is a lot of fun!
