Happy Birthday Tyler!

Logan, Evan and I headed up to northern VA today for a busy day.  We met up at Burke Lake with one of my best friends from Virginia Tech, Nikki, and her adorable little girl Tana.  It was a quick visit but was great to catch up, and Tana and Evan had a lot of fun riding the train.  Nikki is due next month with a baby boy, so I gave her some hand me downs.  Giving away baby stuff is bitter sweet for me, I like emptying out the closets, but hate to think about not having any more babies.

We then headed to Grammy and Grandpa's house for cousin Tyler's 3rd birthday party.  Evan had a blast bouncing in the moon bounce, decorating pumpkins, and playing games.  He was filthy by the end of the party and exhausted, but still had enough energy to talk through most of the ride home before he fell asleep.  If I heard "Mommy me need to tell you something" one more time I may have started screaming!  He talked non stop the way up there too.  I know one day I will miss his chatter, but it still is exhausting.  He was a great boy today and I enjoyed being with my little ones.

Colin had religious education class and since he had already missed two classes he stayed in Richmond with his Daddy. They had a busy day too with class, playing at church playground, shopping at Costco, and watching the Redskin game at BW3's.

We were all happy to relax at home as family for the rest of the night.
