Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Logan's 3rd Birthday!

Today Logan turned 3 years old!  Usually, I say that I can't believe my child is already 3.  But, with Logan it seems like he should be turning 6!  He acts so much older than his age.  He likes to do everything by himself.  If he could prepare meals and do the laundry I am sure he would.  He already tries to zip his jacket himself.  He has been putting on his shoes (those without laces) by himself for months as well as dressing himself.  He usually has his clothes on before he ever comes out of his room in the morning.  He even makes his bed when he wakes up sometimes too.

Logan at 3 is just so much fun.  His teachers just love him.  Dennis says that one day a different girl was working in his class and she said that her relative who worked his class over the summer said that Logan was her favorite.  He is very helpful to the teachers and to me at home.

Logan goes to bed at 7:45pm and wakes up anywhere from 6:30-7:15, usually around 6:45.  We still put him down for a nap in the afternoon most days, but he rarely falls asleep (though he does usually nap at school).  He will however fall asleep in the car if we happen to be out later in the day.  During nap he is all over the place, playing in his room and getting into things.

Logan is fully potty trained, but does have the occasional poop accident.  He wears a pull up at night, but is usually dry in the morning anyway.

Logan is a pretty good eater.  He loves yogurt, peanut butter waffle sandwiches, and milk.  He is ok with fruit and vegetables.  He has his favorites (i.e peas, broccoli, cauliflower, applesauce, apples, and oranges) and is iffy about some others.  Overall, I would say he eats good.

He continues to call Dennis and I Mom and Dad sometimes.  When I ask him to do something he will say, "Sure Mom, I can do dat".  And he will say, "I'm a good helper, wight?.  When he poops in the potty he will call me to come wipe him and will say, "Are you so proud of me?"  I say "Yes, I am very proud of you."  He says, "And Daddy?"  And I say, "Yes, Daddy is proud of you too."  And then he says, "And Colin and Evan?".  Every time.

He loves his big brothers, especially Evan.  He likes to know where Evan is all the time.  And will sometimes get upset if Evan is doing something else.  He will say, "He don't want to play wit me."  Luckily, Colin and Evan are pretty good with him most of the time.

Logan loves Mickey Mouse, Elmo, playing legos, playing with his letters, watching his shows on TV (especially Mickey Mouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates), and playing outside with his brothers.

For his birthday today, I ordered cupcakes for his class at school.  Then we had his choice of dinner (Mickey mouse shaped chicken nuggets and peas) and then we had an ice cream cake.  He is not a huge cake eater, but does love ice cream, so I thought that would be a good choice.  We got in the shape of Mickey Mouse and he was so surprised and excited!

Then he opened presents from us and a couple from family that had sent them (the rest of family are giving it to him in person when we go to VA next week).  His favorite gift by far was the stuffed Mickey Mouse he got from us, he has been asking for Mickey for months.  He brought Mickey to sleep with him.  I have a feeling Mickey will be going lots of places with him.

Poor Leah has a cold and hasn't been feeling good.  I have been getting lots of cuddles...
