The older boys started their Spring Break on Friday. They are off all this week so we will be leaving for VA on Tuesday. Since we need to be in VA the following weekend for Leah's baptism, we opted to stay in Indy for this weekend and Easter.
Saturday, we took the boys to the Easter Egg Hunt at Church. It was basically a bunch of Eggs in the parking lot, so it wasn't challenging at all, and lasted all of about 2 minutes. But, they got a ton of candy and were excited anyway.
Today, the kids got up and were thrilled to look for their Easter Baskets. Colin and Evan were up a little early, but Logan chose this day to sleep in. So, the boys had to wait until he got up before they could all go down to look for their baskets. I don't think the older boys were thrilled with their baskets this year, they apparently had hopes of getting another Beyblade (their latest obsession). Instead, they each got a movie and a book (for the drive to VA) as well as a bubble gun and some candy.
We made resurrection rolls Easter morning which is a big hit.
Then, I took the boys to church while Dennis stayed home with Leah. It was one of the nicest Easter services I have been to. The boys enjoyed some outside time in the afternoon. And then, we had a nice Easter dinner to end the day.
