Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

Happy 5th Birthday Evan!!!

Star Wars books from Grandma and Robert

Today, I got home from VA at about 2:00pm.  I made sure I would be home in time to celebrate Evan's birthday tonight.

Evan at 5 years old is a very sweet boy.  He is becoming more and more sensitive.  He takes great care of Logan and can be very sweet helping me too.  Recently, he has become more tearful and sensitive to his own mess ups.  It used to be that nothing phased him, but that is no longer the case.  He gets upset now when he thinks we are mad at him.

Evan is funny and silly.  He can always get us laughing.  He is also very smart.  I am always amazed at the things that come out of his mouth.  He remembers big words and then uses them in his normal speech.  He has a great memory of many things!  He does great at school and I can't believe he will be going to Kindergarten in August!

Evan is still into Super Heros, he loves to dress up in different costumes.  He also likes Star Wars now.  He is playing Tball and is doing great with it, especially with hitting.  He likes playing sports, but I think he still enjoys the socializing as much as the playing.  He is often silly with the other kids on the team and making them laugh.

We still make Evan have a "rest time" from about 12:45 to 2:30ish, but he rarely falls asleep anymore unless he is very tired.  He usually looks at books and makes a big mess in his room.  Sometimes he comes out dressed as Thor or Spiderman.  Evan is a great fruit and vegetable eater.  He often picks fruit as his choice for snack.  He can be picky with casserole's and things he doesn't recognize.  Usually the fruit or vegetable is the first thing to be eaten on his plate.

Evan likes to draw and is very talented with it.  He loves to cuddle with Dennis and I, especially first thing in the morning.  He does get in grumpy moods and can be very stubborn.  When he is in a bad mood, he is very hard to deal with and can give us both gray hairs.  Luckily, these moods don't last long and he bounces back very quickly.  Most of the time he is very laid back.  He usually has a smile on his face and a joy of life.  He definitely adds a lot of joy to my life.  Happy Birthday Mr. Evan!!!

Today we enjoyed pizza for dinner (Evan's choice), a wonderful cake that Dennis made for Evan, and then Evan opened up his gifts...
