There hasn't been much going on here to talk about. Last weekend involved several trips to different home improvement stores to pick stuff out for the basement. The first trip we all went to and then one of our neighbors was willing to watch Colin and Evan so Dennis and I could run out again with just Logan. By Sunday, it was just Dennis that went out and priced some stuff out.
Saturday evening we enjoyed going out for pizza. Colin is becoming his father's son, he ordered a side of jalapenos with his pizza! It's great to see him grow and to see his taste buds maturing. Don't get me wrong he still LOVES mac and cheese, but he also is starting to like spicy foods, which makes Dennis so happy.
Sunday the Oscars were on. Evan came up while I was watching the red carpet and said, "What? It's just another pretty face." Some of the things that come out of his mouth are just so funny. I don't know where he heard that before, but I laugh every time I think of him saying that.
This week Colin is the star of his class (each week there is a class star), so I brought him lunch at school. Jimmy Johns ham and cheese sub with bbq chips was his pick. The highlight of lunch was when Colin's math teacher came up to me and introduced herself. She said, "I just love working with your son." I asked Colin why she said that and he said, "because I chase her daughter on the playground." Hmm....I am pretty sure that is not the reason.
Logan has been talking more and more. He can't say "Evan" or "Colin", but he can say "Ironman" and "Hulk"....here we go again! He has been calling Colin "Lo" and tonight I suggested he call Evan "E", since he can't say Evan. He seemed to pick up on that, but Evan wasn't a fan of the nickname.
It has been a very mild week so the boys have spent a lot of time outside. They are loving the nice weather and Spring can't come soon enough!
