Welcome to my crazy life! As a mommy to 3 adorable boys my days are full of adventure and fun. I am realizing that time goes by so quickly and I don't want to forget all the cute things that the boys say and do. I hope that this blog will serve as a journal to record all those precious moments...

What We Have Been Up To...

We have just been getting ready to go to the beach around here.  It is a crazy summer for me with 4 kids.  So, I am just so busy trying to get everyone fed, entertained and the house somewhat in order.

Evan did get his yellow belt, which he was thrilled about.

Colin has been a big help with Leah as always...

And, Evan has been nervous to ride his bike (even though he learned how to last summer).  So, he finally got the nerve today to give it a try and he did great!  Leah and I hung out outside and watched the boys ride their bikes.  Her latest obsession is blowing rasberries (aka making farting sounds with her mouth), she does it over and over again, it is so funny and loud!  People in the grocery store laugh.

Berry Picking!

Well, Dennis has been out of town all this week for work.  The kids and I have kept pretty busy.  All 3 boys did swim lessons in the evenings.  Logan was terrified at first, but by the second day he did pretty well.  The older boys like learning how to do some different strokes and they started the beginning steps of diving.

Leah has been moved out of the bumbo and into the highchair for meals most of the time.

Wednesday, I took the kids berry picking.  Evan, who loves all kind of berries, was in heaven.  I think he could have stayed there all day.  It was our first time picking blueberries too and that was so easy and fun, we will definitely do it again next year.  When we got home I made freezer jam with all the strawberries and it turned out awesome!  Evan pretty much ate almost all the blueberries in a matter of days.

Thursday Colin had testing for GT next year (they call it Challenge class here).  He thinks he did pretty well, but we will see.

Friday, Evan had testing to get his yellow belt!  He did awesome!  He seems to have a pretty good natural talent for this and picks stuff up pretty easily.

Friday night, we got a babysitter so Dennis and I could celebrate our 11th wedding Anniversary, which is Saturday.  We went to nice restaurant we have never been to and then went to see a movie.  I love getting some alone time with Dennis since it happens so rarely!

Pool Time and Final T-Ball game.

So, the kids and I have been enjoying going to the pool.  Occasionally, I can get Leah to take a little nap on me, but other times we have to leave once she gets tired.  Luckily, she doesn't need too much sleep during the day and can hold off for a little bit before we head home.

Colin and Evan play great together at the pool.  They like to do water gun fights with each other.  Logan just kind of plays quietly by himself bouncing between the baby pool and the bigger pool (with a vest on).

On Tuesday Leah finally rolled back to tummy.  She has been rolling tummy to back forever so we have been wondering when she would do this.

Wednesday, we took Leah for her 6 Month pictures (yeah, I know that technically she is 7 months, but since is so small, I waited a little longer so she would have better muscle control in the picture).  She did great and the boys nicely watched tv while she took pictures.  I then treated them to dinner and dairy queen at the mall.

Evan had his last t-ball game and got his trophy!

This weekend the boys and I got hair cuts (not at the same place).

While I got my hair cut, Dennis watched the kiddos.  Leah held her bottle by herself!

The boys dressed up in a bunch of different costumes and Colin helped Dennis work on the Death Star...

Father's Day 2013

We had a very nice Father's Day weekend.  This Daddy is very special to all of us...

We got him the Lego Star Wars death star.  I figured it was something him and the boys could all enjoy putting together.  He started working on it right away...

I took the boys to the pool so he could have a bit of quiet alone time and then we enjoyed a yummy dinner together.  Logan at the pool was funny.  He of course has no clue that he is only 3 years old.  He tried to go in the big pool and I said, "No, you can't stand there."  To which he responded, "Sure I can, those boys are."  I told him that he can't swim and they can and he said, "Sure I can.".

Leah Is 7 Months Old!!!

Leah at 7 Months is just as sweet as can be.  She is doing well with eating baby food (Stage 1 and 2).  She prefers the veggies to the fruits, but I still feed her both.

Leah is sleeping well.  Usually 10-11 hours at night or so.  About 7:30-6:30, give or take.  She is also taking 2 naps.

She isn't sitting up yet, she's still fairly floppy.  Mostly she chews on her hands and is still fairly lazy when you lay her down.

She is a pretty easy baby.  She loves to smile at us and laugh.

We had friends/neighbors over for dinner tonight.  They of course gushed over Leah!

VBS 2013

This week the older boys have been in Vacation Bible School at our church.  It is basically a summer camp from 9-12 every day.  They have done so much like pet animals, crafts, sing songs, etc...  They have really enjoyed it.  Friday, I went to volunteer and then they had an ice cream party with all the parents.

The boys have gotten hooked on the CD that they got full of all the songs they learned at camp.  We have been listening to it every time they get in the car and they like to do the hand motions that go to the songs.

I put them in camp to break up their summer some and for them to enjoy some activities without having their baby sister in tow.  Luckily, they seemed to really enjoy it.

Wednesday Evan had a t-ball game.  He is doing really well this season.  He is hitting great and really has a good sense for the game when he is in the outfield.

Tonight we went to Cool Creek Park to listen to a band and have a picnic dinner.  This is one of the most fun events here in the summer.  Every Friday they have a different band and the kids have so much fun running around, going in the bounce house, and getting their faces painted.  We have fun talking to neighbors and just listening to the music.

Evan loves his baby sister...
